Worldmaking through Speculative Writing

Do you want to learn how to write fantasy? This coming November 16, MCAD is offering a half-day lecture and workshop titled Worldmaking through Speculative Writing for young creatives and professionals who are interested in creating speculative narratives. Inspired by the works of What Lies Within artists Suzanne Treister (UK) and Laurent Grasso (France), the workshop aims to encourage writers to create their own supernatural or futuristic landscapes shaped from imagination. It will be facilitated by Dean Alfar, Editor of the Philippine Speculative Fiction series and also a multi-awarded Filipino playwright and novelist. There are only 20 slots available. To register, email mcad@benilde.edu.ph.
