2018 marks the 10th anniversary of MCAD. The Museum delivers programming and content that encourages engagement with art and culture, its practice and production, as well as its presentation and interpretation. MCAD remains reflexive and responsive to changes in society, politics and the production of ideas.
To celebrate its decennial year, MCAD plans on delivering an exciting and diverse series of activities throughout 2018. This will include the launch of the first anthology book of Marian Pastor-Roces, a Public Lecture Series with leading speakers from across the globe. Exhibitions on; Pacita Abad; a collaboration with Taiwanese Curator, Esther Lu; our second MCAD Commonsshow as well as our ongoing ‘Flatlands’ exhibition.
We’re also delighted to announce the winner of our anniversary logo competition. Congratulations to first year, AB-MMA student, Nyna Mapusao for her fantastic design (image above) that will be used throughout 2018 and as part of our first merchandise range.
Finally, we’d like to thank all our supporters, visitors and followers for helping to shape MCAD over the past ten years. As we usher in 2018, you remain core to the Museum’s future, a future peopled by creative minds and a visionary outlook.
A very happy New Year to you.
The MCAD Team.
