MCAD Manila Board Member, Alexie Glass-Kantor of Artspace Sydney will launch a new project called 52 Artists 52 Actions where every week for a year, a new artist will create an “action” – anything and everything that communicates and builds awareness around important local and global concerns and share it with people around the world through Instagram.

The Vexed Contemporary was an exhibition held at MCAD in 2015. The exhibition includes 16 Filipino artists whose practices lend themselves to a global compass, operating using an artistic language that aims to challenge a perennial characterization when represented on local and global platforms.
